Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (10 ounces) Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
  • 1 package (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add remaining ingredients: Stir in the Rotel tomatoes (undrained), ranch seasoning mix, and softened cream cheese with the cooked beef. Continue to cook over low heat, stirring until the cream cheese is melted and the mixture is well combined and heated through.
  3. Serve warm: Transfer the dip to a serving dish and serve immediately while warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • Use low-fat cream cheese to reduce calories and fat.
  • This dip can also be made in a slow cooker on low for about 1-2 hours.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated before serving.
