  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare Brownie Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract. Gradually fold in the flour until just combined.
  2. Bake Brownies: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the batter into a greased 9×9 inch baking pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
  3. Make Pistachio Ganache: In a saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, butter, and sugar. Stir until butter melts and mixture is warm but not boiling. Remove from heat and add chopped semi-sweet chocolate. Let sit for 2 minutes then stir until smooth. Stir in half of the chopped pistachios.
