A decadent Hot Fudge Brownie Bread that combines rich brownie batter with luscious swirls of hot fudge sauce, baked to perfection in a loaf pan for a gooey, chocolatey treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Batter

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

Hot Fudge Sauce

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Brownie Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined and smooth.
  2. Make Hot Fudge Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the chocolate chips, heavy cream, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and glossy. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly to thicken.
  3. Swirl Fudge into Batter: Pour half of the brownie batter into a greased loaf pan. Drizzle half of the hot fudge sauce over the batter. Add the remaining brownie batter on top, then drizzle the remaining hot fudge sauce. Using a knife or skewer, gently swirl the batter and fudge together to create a marbled effect.
  4. Bake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake for 45 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs but no wet batter.
  5. Cool and Serve: Allow the brownie bread to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve as a rich dessert or indulgent snack.

Notes

  • For an extra fudgy texture, use high-quality cocoa powder and chocolate chips.
  • Do not overmix the batter to keep it tender and moist.
  • Wrap leftover brownie bread in plastic wrap and store at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
  • Warm the hot fudge sauce slightly before drizzling if it thickens too much after cooling.
  • Optional: Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a classic dessert combination.
